For those who wonder how my name is pronounced it is TYG-Art not TIG-ert. Sorry Tigger fans. It's a version of the popular Scots last name Taggert that got spelled and pronounced a host of different ways when my ancestors got off the boat. This version is popular in West Virginia.I did have an ancestor who spelled it Tyger.
